Dusk + Dawn Books is committed to being a space of (un)learning and resource sharing, and as such, will be following an updated posting schedule:

 

  • Mondays: Items for Sale

  • Thursdays, alternating between:

    • Books, zines, graphics, comics, and resources sold by Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour creators, writers, artists, bookstores, & comic book shops

    • Books, zines, comics, libraries, resource lists available free online

  • Non-scheduled: Posts related to calls for action, petitions, rallies, & fundraisers, as well as D+D Books related reading/ writing projects

To purchase an item, DM me on Instagram or message me on Facebook. Etransfers accepted. Free delivery in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, NOTL, Thorold, & Jordan/ Lincoln. Shipping in Canada & the US is available, and the cost will be calculated at the time of purchase.

Eva Vintage

Eva Bowering (she/her/they) has been and out of the vintage clothing community for well over 15 years.

She began picking vintage for Beyond Retro in the UK.

Then moved to Toronto where she started her own brick and mortar location with 69 Vintage. She's also worked for Malabar Costumes Ltd.,

I Miss You Vintage, John Fluevog Shoes, Out of the Past,

to name a few.

She's happy to be back in her hometown sharing her finds.

A Welland based artist, Jes L'Heureux, has beenm honing her skills in the arts for more than thirty years.

 

Working in both traditional and digital mediums, Jes has been able to expand her knowledge and skills.

 

Drawing from her mixed Asian background and nerd pop-culture, she creates works that are serene and whimsical.

For purchasing please email me. I accept debit, cc, paypal, etransfer, or cash. For any custom orders I do ask that you pay 50% up front, with the remainder due at time of pick up. No contact pickup is available, we can arrange a time which works best for you. Delivery via Canada Post is available for an additional cost, and will be calculated at time of purchase.

Sara Lou is a queer painter, aerialist, and performer from Niagara Falls, Canada. Her works fall into the category of magic realism.

 

As a painter, she crafts playful and haunted living worlds that are at once apocalyptic and idyllic. Behold printed reproductions of some of her creations in three fine sizes!

Joey Dean is the creator of Toadstool Illustrates and works as a Designer & Editor for the Cold Strawberries Collective.

 

He is a Transgender Artist in Hamilton working to provide representation for other *Queers in his community though his art and apparel, gender-fluid modelling and writing.
